FAQ - Swimwear Tutorials
What to wear under board shorts
There is no need to wear anything under board shorts. To help provide rash protection, you may want to wear compression shorts or briefs under your board shorts.
How to put long hair in a swim cap
To put long hair in a swim cap, first be sure to tie it back. You may want to braid it or put it in a bun. Once your hair is up, wet it. Some people find that wetting the inside of the cap helps keep long hair under the cap, while others may want to keep their cap and forehead dry—you’ll need to find which works best for you. Next, pull the cap wide and begin stretching it over your head, starting at your forehead and working your way to the nape of your neck. Adjust the cap around or over your ears, then tuck any stray hairs under the cap.
How to keep swim goggles from fogging
There are a number of reasons why swim goggles might fog up. Here are a few tips to prevent fogging:
- Don’t touch the inside of your goggle lenses. Many swim goggles come with anti-fog coating that easily wears away due to the oils on skin.
- Try Anti-Fog Goggle Solution. Speedo offers a solution that cleans the lens surface of dirt and chemicals while keeping them fog-free and your vision clear.
- Baby shampoo: Add a drop or two to each lens, wait 15 minutes, rinse it out, and use your goggles like normal.
